Honey Oatmeal Bread
Servings 2 loaves
Ingredients
- 1 3/4 C lukewarm water
- 2 packs dry yeast
- 1 beaten eggs
- 1/3 C shortening

- 1/2 C Dutch Gold Wildflower Honey
- 1 C rolled oats
- 2 C whole wheat flour
- 3 1/2 C all-purpose flour
Instructions

Beat all ingredients except all-purpose flour together with mixer for 2 minutes. Stir in all-purpose until mixture leaves sides of bowl. Allow to rise in bowl until it doubles in size. Punch down and allow to rise again. Punch down and shape into 2 loaves. Put on greased bread pans and allow to rise. Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes.
